Responsibilities

  • Implement cybersecurity solutions that protect critical assets and contribute to design and configuration decisions.
  • Perform threat modeling, security testing, and penetration testing to identify and remediate vulnerabilities.
  • Integrate and configure information security technologies in test and production environments.
  • Investigate escalated security issues, conduct root-cause analysis, and implement preventative fixes.
  • Review security threats, tools, and design options to support technical plans and priorities.
  • Collaborate with product and engineering teams on security guidelines, secure-by-design practices, and governance controls.
  • Implement and update security baselines, guardrails, and control configurations.
  • Execute incident response and basic forensic activities using established playbooks and approved tooling.
  • Share security knowledge and provide informal guidance during code reviews, design discussions, and pairing sessions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education, training, and work-related experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in security engineering or related cybersecurity roles.
  • Developing knowledge of cybersecurity principles, theories, and concepts.
  • Experience with software development lifecycle security practices.
  • Proficiency implementing and managing information security technologies.
  • Preferred: experience with security automation, orchestration, and advanced threat detection tools.
  • Preferred: familiarity with emerging cybersecurity technologies, industry trends, and strategic risk management.
