Base Salary
$200k - $288k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and develop features based on customer requirements and business goals.
- Lead, mentor, and guide engineers while setting technical direction and strategy for critical product areas.
- Manage project activities including design, coding, reviews, testing, observability, tooling, and on-call support.
- Build highly reliable and fault-tolerant software for large-scale customers.
- Ensure service reliability, availability, debuggability, performance, operational readiness, and maintainability.
- Design and build Kubernetes-based, OCI-compliant container compute platform features that can scale with changing customer and business needs.
Requirements
- 10+ years of industry experience building features and capabilities for large-scale systems or infrastructure-level platforms.
- Extremely strong computer science fundamentals and experience building distributed systems.
- Hands-on coding experience in Java, C++, or Go is highly desirable.
- Ability to work onsite at the downtown Bellevue office.
- Experience building products or services with Kubernetes is preferred.
- Experience designing and implementing multi-cloud products or features across AWS, Azure, and GCP is preferred.
- Experience implementing multi-tenant systems with a focus on performance, isolation, and security is preferred.
- Ability to collaborate across functions and teams and contribute to a transparent, knowledge-sharing team environment.
