Responsibilities
- Drive testing and test automation across multiple platforms, including AML Transaction Monitoring applications.
- Create functional and automated test scenarios, scripts, and acceptance criteria for enhancements and new applications.
- Maintain and execute functional, automation, regression, and acceptance test plans.
- Run test suites, research errors, track defects, and collaborate with developers and QA teams to resolve issues.
- Reproduce production problems with support teams and identify gaps in regression coverage.
- Improve the testing process through new tools, strategies, and automation techniques.
- Coordinate with offshore and onshore teams, users, developers, business teams, and other stakeholders.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in quality assurance testing, including at least two years of focused Python-based automation development.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Technology preferred.
- Hands-on experience testing ETL, data warehouses, and web UIs using Python.
- Strong experience with Databricks, PySpark, SQL analytical functions and complex queries, and entity resolution.
- Knowledge of software testing methodologies, STLC processes, test planning, test scripting, execution, results communication, and defect tracking.
- Experience with JIRA and Agile ceremonies and processes.
- Financial-domain experience, including Anti-Money Laundering knowledge, is highly desirable.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, problem-solving, communication, collaboration, stakeholder management, and attention-to-detail skills.
- Ability to work effectively with geographically distributed teams and manage QA deliverables under stringent timelines.
