Responsibilities

  • Deliver new features, enhancements, and bug fixes for the Global Trading Research platform.
  • Participate in technical analysis, design, data analysis and mapping, development, testing, documentation, and support across the full software development life cycle.
  • Define solutions aligned with business objectives and coordinate priorities and progress with business and development teams.
  • Refactor and continuously improve the platform, software stack, tooling, and next-generation platforms.
  • Provide L2 and L3 production support, application testing, maintenance releases, and resolution of user and production issues.
  • Collaborate with development, QA, support, and client-facing teams across London, New York, Hong Kong, and Mumbai.
  • Contribute to architecture and design decisions, code reviews, software delivery best practices, and adherence to development standards.
  • Own deliveries and work hands-on across development, testing, documentation, and support.

Requirements

  • 8–10 years of professional experience.
  • B.E., B.Tech, MCA, or M.Tech qualification.
  • Good understanding of investment banking and capital markets.
  • Experience working with financial markets and understanding of local market characteristics.
  • Exposure to electronic trading systems for equities, FX, or similar markets.
  • Strong Core Java skills.
  • Experience with high-performance messaging, multithreading, memory management, TCP/UDP networking, and performance optimization.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with global teams and support business-critical applications.
