Responsibilities

  • Lead the technical roadmap for AI security controls and assurance in partnership with Security Architecture.
  • Design, implement, and operate controls for AI-assisted software development, including review of AI-generated code, coding-agent constraints, automated testing, and risk-based enforcement.
  • Conduct security reviews of AI applications, models, agents, retrieval systems, data flows, and external tool integrations.
  • Create controls for agent identity, least privilege, tool access, execution isolation, human approval, and interruption of unsafe behavior.
  • Design security controls for AI models, agents, toolsets, datasets, pipelines, cloud infrastructure, platforms, and workloads.
  • Develop runtime monitoring, auditability, detection, containment, and incident-response requirements for AI systems.
  • Build AI-driven capabilities for vulnerability discovery, validation, prioritization, and remediation.
  • Establish security criteria for third-party models, AI services, APIs, and developer tools.
  • Develop metrics for AI security risk, control effectiveness, remediation performance, and adoption.
  • Lead complex security initiatives, architectural reviews, technical escalations, and cross-functional security programs.
  • Mentor security and engineering professionals and provide technical guidance across diverse technology stacks.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience in software engineering, application security, product security, or cybersecurity, including leadership of complex initiatives spanning multiple teams or platforms.
  • A bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Deep knowledge of application security vulnerabilities, secure software development, and controls for identifying, preventing, and remediating software risk.
  • Hands-on experience securing AI systems.
  • Strong software-engineering experience building and operating production security tooling, automation, platform services, or developer-facing capabilities.
  • Experience partnering with developers to implement security controls and operating controls across cloud environments, CI/CD systems, and varied application and infrastructure stacks.
  • Experience mentoring and developing engineers.
  • Familiarity with SAST, DAST, SCA, WAF, and Burp Suite is preferred.
  • Strong programming experience in at least one of Ruby, Java, Python, JavaScript, or Swift is preferred.
  • Knowledge of Kubernetes, Terraform, Git, at least one of AWS, Azure, or GCP, and authentication and authorization protocols such as OAuth 2.0 and SAML is preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to influence technical and senior stakeholders.
