Responsibilities
- Build and maintain automated tests using Cypress and TypeScript for key workflows on the DOOH advertising platform.
- Partner with Quality Engineering, Software Engineering, Product, and Business teams to understand requirements, identify test scenarios, and expand test coverage.
- Run manual and automated tests to identify, document, and troubleshoot defects throughout the development lifecycle.
- Participate in refinement sessions and team discussions to learn real-world software engineering practices.
- Improve test automation, regression testing, and overall software quality.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years old and legally authorized to work in the United States now and in the future.
- Have one or more courses remaining in a bachelor’s or graduate degree program after the internship.
- Have foundational programming knowledge and exposure to JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, or Java through coursework, personal projects, or internships.
- Understand software development fundamentals such as object-oriented programming, data structures, debugging, and version control tools such as Git.
- Familiarity with software testing concepts or REST APIs is a plus; prior test automation framework experience is not required.
- Demonstrate analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, communication, collaboration, initiative, and willingness to learn.
- Hands-on academic projects, personal coding projects, or GitHub contributions are valued; professional experience and certifications are not required.
