Responsibilities
- Build and iterate on threat detection, prevention, and response systems for large-scale platforms, critical infrastructure, and globally distributed endpoints.
- Identify attack surfaces and develop defensive mechanisms for LLM-based systems and AI agent systems.
- Prototype, evaluate, and analyze LLM and AI agent security approaches, including machine learning and agentic methods.
- Develop, test, deploy, and improve distributed security systems with attention to reliability, observability, and scalability.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to translate product and security needs into engineering solutions.
Requirements
- Completing or recently completed a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Cybersecurity, or a related discipline.
- Strong fundamentals in algorithms, data structures, operating systems, computer networks, and databases.
- Proficiency in at least one of Go, Java, Rust, Python, or C++, with the ability to write clean, reliable, and maintainable code.
- Foundational knowledge of back-end development, distributed systems, or cloud-native infrastructure through coursework, internships, research, or projects.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to learn quickly.
- Preferred qualifications include internship, research, or project experience with AI/LLM applications, AI agents, back-end systems, or distributed systems.
- Preferred qualifications include familiarity with authentication, authorization, threat detection, vulnerability mitigation, secure system design, and LLM or AI agent security.
