$140k - $176k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and operate the Kubernetes platform on AWS EKS.
- Advance the Controller/Operator and deployment model for self-service delivery.
- Lead critical upgrades and rollouts for Kubernetes and related tools.
- Drive autoscaling and cost/performance improvements with product teams.
- Enhance platform reliability through alerting and on-call participation.
- Implement service connectivity improvements to reduce operational toil.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience as a Software Engineer.
- Proficiency with containerization and cloud environments.
- Deep experience with Kubernetes/EKS operating production workloads.
- Strong Go programming skills; familiarity with controller/operator patterns is a plus.
- Fluency in AWS core primitives and platform guardrails.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform and CI/CD automation.
- Observability and SRE mindset with a focus on metrics and incident response.
- Security-focused approach with policy-as-code practices.
- Strong communication skills and developer empathy.
