Responsibilities
- Own the deployment, operation, and lifecycle management of ML and AI solutions in production.
- Design and maintain model serving, monitoring, retraining, rollback, and continuous training processes.
- Transform data science prototypes into scalable, production-grade services and APIs.
- Build feature pipelines, model registries, and reusable MLOps frameworks.
- Implement data, model, and prediction drift monitoring, alerting, and incident-management processes.
- Drive shadow, canary, and champion-challenger deployment strategies.
- Support production LLM and agent-based solutions through evaluation pipelines, tracing, versioning, and guardrails.
- Manage AI workload costs, latency, and platform dependencies.
- Define engineering standards, perform code reviews, and mentor ML Engineers and Data Scientists.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in Software Engineering, ML Engineering, or MLOps, including at least 2 years deploying and operating ML models in production.
- Strong experience building production-ready machine learning platforms and services.
- Production-quality Python experience, including testing, packaging, API design, and code review.
- Proven experience integrating ML models into business-critical operational systems.
- Solid understanding of the end-to-end ML lifecycle, including governance, monitoring, retraining, and incident management.
- Experience collaborating across Data Science, Data Engineering, Analytics Engineering, Product, and Platform teams.
- Experience with production environments requiring high availability, performance, and scalability.
- Knowledge of AI governance, model traceability, and production controls.
- Exposure to real-time decisioning, fintech, fraud, or credit-risk environments is preferred.
- Experience supporting LLM-based and Generative AI applications in production is highly valued.
