Base Salary
$182k - $260k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build secure agent runtimes, libraries, and reference implementations using planner/executor, tool-routing, and RAG-boundary patterns.
- Build and secure MCP servers, clients, tool registries, and connector patterns with authentication, authorization, and audit logging.
- Implement secure-by-default controls including schema validation, tool allowlists, redaction, and policy checks.
- Threat model and test agent workflows for prompt injection and data exfiltration.
- Deliver production code and secure building blocks for IT and Product teams.
Requirements
- Foundational understanding of AI/ML technologies and experience leveraging, securing, or positioning AI-driven solutions.
- Extensive experience designing and implementing agent runtimes with planning, tool calling, and memory/state controls.
- 8+ years of experience shipping production security engineering solutions with strong coding skills in Python, TypeScript, or Node.
- Practical experience integrating frontier model APIs with structured outputs, streaming, and safety controls.
- Familiarity with LangGraph, LangChain, or Semantic Kernel and solid cloud and Kubernetes security engineering experience.
- Preferred: experience designing guardrail architectures or real-time alignment enforcement for autonomous multi-agent orchestration.
- Preferred: familiarity with OWASP LLM Top 10, MITRE ATLAS, or NIST AI RMF, plus LLM application and agent testing or evaluation harnesses.
- Preferred: strong data-security experience for RAG, including retrieval authorization and tenancy boundaries.
