Responsibilities
- Build next-generation content recommendation and ad-personalization systems.
- Define data requirements, coordinate data collection with engineering and business teams, and validate collected data.
- Develop model features, train models using scientific tools and code, and improve existing models.
- Integrate model inference implementations into production systems.
- Set up production model testing, including A/B testing, and analyze results to evaluate model performance.
- Work closely with Product and Engineering teams on recommendation and personalization systems.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, electrical engineering, statistics, mathematics, or a related field.
- At least 7 years of experience building ML products, including at least 2 years in content recommendation or ad personalization.
- Experience building and deploying large-scale recommendation and personalization systems in production.
- Proficiency in Python and at least one deep learning framework such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, or Keras.
- Strong statistical background in experimentation and modeling.
- Deep product sense, self-starting ability, and ability to drive critical projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent English communication and collaboration skills.
- Preferred: MS or PhD in computer science, electrical engineering, statistics, mathematics, or a related field.
- Preferred: excellent software engineering skills and a record of high-quality product delivery.
- Preferred: experience training, evaluating, fine-tuning, and deploying production models such as LLMs.
- Preferred: experience with AWS or another cloud system and familiarity with GPUs.
