Responsibilities
- Develop embedded control functions for battery electric vehicle powertrain systems and subsystems.
- Perform modeling, simulation, and programming using engineering software.
- Develop and support SIL, MIL, and HIL environments for automotive applications.
- Implement and work with CAN, LIN, UDS, and J1939 communication protocols.
- Handle logging and fault management for automotive applications and components.
- Contribute across the embedded system design and development lifecycle.
- Use CAN analysis tools and collaborate with tools such as JIRA and Git when applicable.
Requirements
- B.E. or B.Tech degree.
- 4-6 years of software development experience, including embedded software development.
- Experience with MATLAB, Simulink, TargetLink, Stateflow, M-scripting, and Python.
- Experience with Embedded C and functional development.
- Knowledge of CAN, LIN, UDS, and J1939 communication protocols.
- Experience with logging and fault handling for automotive applications and components.
- Experience with XIL development, including SIL, MIL, and HIL, in the automotive domain.
- Preferred knowledge of EV architecture, powertrain functionality, and distributed embedded controls software architecture.
- Preferred knowledge of CANape, CANoe, and CANalyzer.
- Preferred overview of AUTOSAR and exposure to JIRA and Git.
- Knowledge of automotive sensors, actuators, and electrical systems is preferred.
