Base Salary
$123k - $199k/yr
Responsibilities
- Maintain the existing sampling scope software build environment, build and release process, and toolchain while responding to security changes.
- Propose and implement targeted transitions to a modern DevOps build and release toolchain.
- Organize triage and track resolution of SAST and threat-modeling findings across development, sprint QA, and release QA.
- Support EU Cyber Resilience Act compliance and identify software bill of materials components that may affect compliance deadlines.
- Improve automated QA coverage by identifying gaps and implementing test processes, scripts, and code.
- Run and analyze nightly regression test beds and participate in issue triage, verification, and closure.
- Analyze measurement throughput and existing benchmarks to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Lead or coordinate software quality, deployment, backlog, sprint planning, troubleshooting, and issue-resolution activities.
Requirements
- 2–4 years of related QA, software toolchain, or software security experience.
- Significant software development knowledge with a focus on software quality practices and package deployment methods.
- Hands-on experience with software build and release processes.
- Examples of leading software quality implementation or software development projects.
- Knowledge of QA coverage, multiple QA tools and practices, and software quality processes.
- Strong troubleshooting, triage, issue-resolution, communication, teamwork, quantitative analysis, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to learn new technologies quickly, lead teams through change, manage time effectively, and work independently.
- Experience developing test software and knowledge of C# are pluses.
- Working knowledge of DevOps toolchains and software build and release deployment is a plus.
- Experience with DevOps toolchain migration or modernization and knowledge of the Visual Studio ecosystem are pluses.
