Responsibilities
- Design, program, test, and modify applications within the BAS Architecture.
- Provide production support, analyze and fix code problems, test changes, and release approved code to production according to service-level agreements.
- Analyze, code, and test simple to moderate new or modified modules from design specifications.
- Complete change-control, work, testing, release, and data-fix documentation.
- Identify and resolve data-integrity issues and support data preparation for new department implementations.
- Investigate and resolve production comebacks and support the testing team.
- Conduct project and issue management, including status and ETC/budget reporting for assigned work.
- Prioritize workload, report weekly turnarounds, support team goals, and provide quality client service.
Requirements
- Appropriate and recognized formal IT training.
- Minimum 2 years of development experience.
- Moderate proficiency with COBOL and/or C# and SQL, or .NET, Java, Python, and C# with willingness to develop COBOL and FCP skills.
- Knowledge of IBM Mainframe, MVS, CICS, JCL, Windows OS, COBOL, C or C#, Microsoft Office, FTP, and SQL.
- Basic working knowledge of one medium or large functional area, or multiple small functional areas.
- Good verbal and written communication skills and an understanding of client business needs.
