Responsibilities
- Own a project while regularly checking in with team members for questions and updates.
- Improve existing code through progressive refactoring.
- Ensure reliability through unit, integration, and load testing.
- Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and distribute knowledge.
- Contribute to continuous integration and deployment.
- Build software that improves the lives of Lyft drivers and passengers.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science or a related field at a university in Mexico.
- Graduating between December 2027 and Summer 2028.
- Strong knowledge of computer science fundamentals, JavaScript, CSS, and HTML.
- Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks such as React.
- Experience with real-time technology problems and databases.
- Good English communication skills.
- Contributions to open source projects and previous work with social networks are valued.
- Passion for community, sustainability, and/or transportation.
- Ability to thrive in a startup environment.
- Resume must be submitted in English.
