Responsibilities

Design and build self-service platform services such as messaging and observability services.
Automate platform provisioning, scaling, and lifecycle operations using infrastructure-as-code and GitOps workflows.
Implement observability, monitoring, and alerting systems for platform services to meet service-level objectives.
Integrate security controls and compliance requirements with security teams.
Improve platform usability, developer onboarding, and operational efficiency for application teams.
Respond to incidents, conduct post-incident reviews, and drive continuous operational improvement.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define platform service requirements.

Background in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
Strong programming or scripting experience with technologies such as HCL, YAML, JavaScript, Python, or Bash.
Understanding of Linux systems, containers, networking fundamentals, and distributed system operations.
At least 1–3 years of hands-on experience operating cloud services in production.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure-as-code, and configuration management tools such as Terraform, Ansible, and Helm.
Experience implementing observability and monitoring for large-scale platforms.
Preferred experience with Kubernetes security concepts, GitOps deployment tools, observability stacks, networking protocols, and reliability engineering practices.
