Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Design, build, test, deploy, and maintain software systems and applications supporting business objectives.
- Design software architecture, write and optimize code, fix bugs, improve performance, and develop features.
- Implement RF algorithms and software systems and support prototype integration.
- Contribute across the engineering lifecycle while independently owning priorities and potentially guiding team members.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop integrated systems.
- Document and communicate technical designs, challenges, decisions, and progress.
- Help establish and maintain software development standards and best practices.
Requirements
- U.S. citizenship is required.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret/SCI security clearance.
- Bachelor's degree in a STEM field with 5+ years of experience, master's degree with 3+ years of experience, or PhD in a STEM field; relevant experience may substitute for a degree.
- Expertise in DSP architecture, embedded software development, RF signal processing, or RF modeling and simulation.
- Proficiency with C, C++, and/or Python.
- Proficiency with Git and continuous integration/continuous development principles.
- Experience with digital laboratory equipment such as oscilloscopes and logic analyzers.
- Strong analytical, critical-thinking, creative problem-solving, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision and establish effective relationships with technical staff and peers.
- Ability to perform laboratory and field work involving lifting nominal weights, uneven terrain, and prolonged standing.
- Willingness to travel less than 10% as needed.
- Preferred qualifications include an existing security clearance, defense or intelligence-community program experience, relevant computer engineering, computer science, electrical engineering, physics, RF, algorithms, or software-development education, embedded algorithm development for defense customers, and experience with AI code-assistance tools.
