Base Salary
$95k - $159k/yr
Responsibilities
- Automate and orchestrate machine learning workflows across AWS, Azure, Databricks, and foundation model APIs.
- Maintain and version model registries and artifact stores to support reproducibility and governance.
- Develop and manage CI/CD for ML, including automated data validation, model testing, and deployment.
- Build and scale machine learning pipelines using AWS SageMaker, MLflow, and Azure ML.
- Design engineering components for RAG systems, including query interpretation, chunking, embeddings, hybrid retrieval, semantic search, prompt libraries, guardrails, and structured LLM output.
- Develop ML pipelines using Elasticsearch, OpenSearch, Solr, vector databases, and graph databases.
- Build evaluation pipelines for information retrieval metrics, LLM quality metrics, and A/B testing.
- Optimize infrastructure costs through monitoring, scaling strategies, and efficient resource utilization.
- Collaborate with subject-matter experts, product managers, data scientists, responsible AI experts, and operations engineers to deliver production data science solutions.
Requirements
- Current experience in ML Engineering, MLOps platforms, and shipping ML, search, or GenAI systems to production.
- Hands-on experience with major cloud platforms, including AWS, Azure, and/or Google Cloud.
- Experience with search, vector, and graph technologies such as Elasticsearch, OpenSearch, Solr, and Neo4j.
- Experience evaluating LLM models and understanding data science lifecycle activities such as feature engineering, model training, and evaluation metrics.
- Familiarity with ML frameworks including PyTorch, TensorFlow, and PySpark.
- Experience with large-scale data processing systems such as Spark.
- Experience with statistical analysis, machine learning theory, and natural language processing.
- Strong Python, Java, and/or Scala experience is a plus.
- Background in health technology and/or medical content workflows is preferred.
Benefits
- U.S. National Base Pay Range: $95,300 - $158,800, with geographic differentials in some locations and an annual incentive bonus.
