Base Salary

$79k - $127k/yr

Responsibilities

Develop and integrate ROS2-based autonomy software for active safety, advanced driver assistance, and unmanned ground vehicle systems.
Implement software architecture, motion planning, computer vision, sensor processing, graphical user interfaces, and inter-process messaging.
Write high-quality maintainable C++ code and develop software unit and regression tests.
Support field testing, hardware selection, engineering calculations, investigations, analysis, and design activities.
Write requirements and design documentation and support project plans, reports, suppliers, and other departments.
Travel to off-site locations as necessary to support assigned engineering programs.

Accredited bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field with three or more years of related experience.
Ability to produce high-quality, maintainable C++ code.
Proficiency in ROS2-based software development.
Familiarity with Ubuntu 22.04 or later and distributed systems.
Preferred qualifications include a bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or electrical engineering, plus familiarity with Python and SQL databases.
The role may require acting as a lead worker and occasional travel to off-site locations.
