Responsibilities
- Perform database engineering and administration activities including design and planning.
- Utilize cloud tech tools for migration and disaster recovery.
- Execute database migrations from Oracle/Postgres to cloud platforms.
- Manage security, storage, and monitoring of cloud databases.
- Conduct cost optimization and workload analysis.
- Ensure high availability and disaster recovery for databases.
Requirements
- Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
- Proficient in SQL Server installation, configuration, and performance tuning.
- Experience with cloud platforms like Azure and GCP.
- Knowledge of database migrations and upgrades.
- Database specialty certifications in Azure/GCP preferred.
