Responsibilities
- Lead verification and validation projects for embedded software.
- Review requirements, develop test plans, and create system-level test cases.
- Set up test environments and oversee test execution by engineers.
- Test communication card products and communication interfaces and protocols.
- Manage assigned test ownership, timelines, defect tracking, and quality documentation.
- Collaborate with Development, Product Management, and Global Engineering teams.
- Report project progress according to the defined communication plan.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s engineering degree in Electronics, Computers, or IT.
- At least 6 years of relevant manual software-testing experience across embedded system domains.
- Experience testing IPv4, IPv6, SNMP, Modbus, BACnet, and RS485 communication interfaces and protocols.
- Experience setting up and troubleshooting Linux or Windows environments and using packet-capture tools such as Wireshark.
- Strong testing-process knowledge, defect management, and causal-analysis participation.
- Hands-on experience with Rally, JIRA, and Bugzilla defect-tracking tools.
- Experience writing system-level test cases and working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Exposure to power, thermal, or data-centre monitoring products.
- Awareness of ISO/IEC, IEEE, or similar testing and quality practices.
- Python programming experience is a plus.
- Effective written and spoken English communication skills.
- ISTQB certification is an added advantage.
