Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, and maintain high-quality software solutions for Microsoft products and services.
  • Collaborate with engineers, product managers, designers, and stakeholders to deliver features and customer-focused experiences.
  • Write clean, scalable, maintainable, and well-documented code.
  • Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including design, implementation, testing, deployment, monitoring, and support.
  • Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues involving system reliability, performance, and security.
  • Use data and customer insights to improve product quality and user experience.
  • Contribute to code reviews, technical discussions, and knowledge-sharing activities.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies and contribute ideas that drive product and platform innovation.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience with one or more of C++, C#, Java, Python, JavaScript, Go, or Rust is preferred.
  • Understanding of data structures, algorithms, object-oriented design, and software engineering principles is preferred.
  • Familiarity with software development tools, debugging techniques, and version control systems is preferred.
  • Internship, research, project, or open-source software development experience is preferred.
  • Experience building applications, services, platforms, or AI-powered solutions is preferred.
  • Familiarity with machine learning, artificial intelligence, data engineering, or large-scale service operations is preferred.
  • Experience developing web, mobile, desktop, or backend applications is preferred.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical thinking, and communication skills are preferred.
