Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain high-quality software solutions for Microsoft products and services.
- Collaborate with engineers, product managers, designers, and stakeholders to deliver features and customer-focused experiences.
- Write clean, scalable, maintainable, and well-documented code.
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including design, implementation, testing, deployment, monitoring, and support.
- Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues involving system reliability, performance, and security.
- Use data and customer insights to improve product quality and user experience.
- Contribute to code reviews, technical discussions, and knowledge-sharing activities.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and contribute ideas that drive product and platform innovation.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience.
- Experience with one or more of C++, C#, Java, Python, JavaScript, Go, or Rust is preferred.
- Understanding of data structures, algorithms, object-oriented design, and software engineering principles is preferred.
- Familiarity with software development tools, debugging techniques, and version control systems is preferred.
- Internship, research, project, or open-source software development experience is preferred.
- Experience building applications, services, platforms, or AI-powered solutions is preferred.
- Familiarity with machine learning, artificial intelligence, data engineering, or large-scale service operations is preferred.
- Experience developing web, mobile, desktop, or backend applications is preferred.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical thinking, and communication skills are preferred.
