Responsibilities
- Design, build, deploy, optimize, and maintain machine learning models and algorithms.
- Collaborate with data scientists, software engineers, and stakeholders on feature engineering and scalable solutions.
- Perform data preprocessing, feature engineering, data analysis, and statistical analysis.
- Monitor production models and train or retrain systems to improve performance and accuracy.
- Document model designs and performance metrics and communicate results to stakeholders.
- Design, build, and deploy API services.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement.
- Stay current with machine learning and AI advancements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Machine Learning Engineer or in a similar role.
- Proficiency in Python.
- Experience with machine learning frameworks and libraries such as AWS Bedrock, Amazon SageMaker, TensorFlow, PyTorch, and Scikit-learn.
- Strong understanding of algorithms, data structures, and software engineering principles.
- Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or GCP and tools for deploying machine learning models.
- Knowledge of SQL, Pandas, and NumPy for data manipulation and analysis.
- Experience with deep learning and natural language processing techniques.
- Understanding of model interpretability and explainability.
- Familiarity with Git and CI/CD practices.
- Experience with AI/GenAI and AWS data services such as AWS EMR, AWS Glue, and AWS Athena.
- Ability to solve problems and collaborate effectively in a team environment.
