Base Salary
$198k - $293k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, build, debug, and evolve complex payment and commerce integrations.
- Own the full software delivery lifecycle, including implementation, code review, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
- Apply software craftsmanship, API design, robust testing, and collaborative development practices to large-scale codebases.
- Own production incidents end-to-end, coordinate cross-functional responses, and drive resolution and continuous learning.
- Collaborate with engineering and product leadership to identify opportunities and shape strategic priorities.
- Partner with Operations teams to address merchant pain points and improve payment experiences.
- Make technical decisions using software architecture, design patterns, and anti-pattern knowledge.
- Demonstrate product capabilities to internal stakeholders, partners, and customers.
- Serve as the subject matter expert for the plugins ecosystem and provide technical guidance.
- Maintain technical and functional documentation and lead knowledge-sharing and training initiatives.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in the software development industry.
- Full-stack development experience with deep proficiency in JavaScript, React.js, Node.js, software design, debugging, automated testing, performance optimization, and production-scale applications.
- Knowledge of Salesforce B2C Commerce, including SFRA, PWA, Script API, OCAPI, SCAPI, headless architecture, and the Salesforce B2C data model.
- Expertise in RESTful APIs, GraphQL, API integration, and CRUD operations.
- Experience with GitHub Actions, CI/CD pipelines, code quality and security gates such as SonarQube or SonarCloud, Jest, Playwright, and production-grade package and application maintenance.
- Strong integration design, architecture, performance optimization, and JavaScript problem-solving capabilities.
- Experience embedding AI-assisted development tools into software delivery workflows.
- Ability to architect scalable integrations with attention to data consistency, edge cases, error handling, and platform constraints.
- Experience with payment integrations and enterprise payment flows is preferred.
- Knowledge of security best practices, PCI, and PII compliance is preferred.
- Experience with Composable Commerce and Salesforce OMS integrations is preferred.
- Experience with Java development is preferred.
- Experience extending Adobe Commerce using PHP extensions, API Mesh, and GraphQL is preferred.
Benefits
- Annual base salary range of $198,000–$293,000.
- Role is based in the San Francisco office and is office-first; remote-only work is not offered.
