Base Salary
$80k - $110k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain Python backend services for experiment assignment, logging, and report generation.
- Improve the scalability, performance, and reliability of experiment reporting pipelines.
- Add product-facing features to the Plotly Dash UI for launching experiments and interpreting results.
- Own technical projects by shaping solutions, breaking down work, and driving execution with the team.
- Participate in a weekly on-call rotation to investigate issues and answer internal questions.
- Collaborate with Search, Recommendations, ML, data science, and customer-facing teams when needed.
Requirements
- Strong experience building and owning production backend services in Python.
- Experience with monitoring, alerting, and debugging user-facing systems.
- Strong SQL skills and confidence working with data-heavy metrics, logging, and analytics systems.
- Ability to ship maintainable software through testing, code review, and incremental delivery.
- Ability to turn ambiguous problems into executable technical plans and build systems users can trust.
- Experience with experimentation systems, metrics platforms, or A/B testing workflows is preferred.
- Experience with PySpark and/or Databricks is preferred.
