Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Lead hands-on database migration projects across MySQL, PostgreSQL, Redis, and MongoDB.
- Analyze customers’ existing infrastructure to design robust migration strategies.
- Collaborate on migrations involving Kafka and OpenSearch technologies.
- Implement tailored migration architectures ensuring high performance and minimal downtime.
- Build detailed infrastructure diagrams and explain architectural decisions to diverse audiences.
- Conduct technical workshops and demonstrations on Kubernetes migration processes.
- Act as a trusted advisor to help customers navigate technical complexities.
- Prepare and document Database best practices for customer use.
- Collaborate with engineering and support teams to resolve technical escalations.
- Advocate for customer feedback to inform new Database-related features.
Requirements
- Extensive experience in cloud infrastructure and database migration projects.
- Demonstrated experience leading complex database migrations across various technologies.
- Strong foundational knowledge of Linux and distributed systems.
- In-depth understanding of database architecture and performance tuning.
- Prior experience in a pre-sales or technical consulting role.
- Excellent communication skills for explaining technical concepts clearly.
- Proven ability to automate database migrations using programming and scripting languages.
- Strong experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools like Terraform or Ansible.
- Software engineering experience of 7 years or more.
