Responsibilities
- Operate, monitor, document, deploy, and troubleshoot platforms and related services across laboratory and production environments.
- Manage designated IT applications and systems as the primary contact for business stakeholders and key users.
- Define and implement system-module enhancements, interface integrations, and optimization measures.
- Ensure application stability, availability, performance, and security through analysis and operational improvements.
- Coordinate internal and external IT service providers, hosting and development partners, and vendor HCL.
- Participate in on-call support, incident response, service delivery, SLA management, and rare night-shift coverage.
- Lead projects for new solutions and improvements to existing systems and services.
- Contribute to IT budget planning, forecasting, cost control, and cloud cost optimization.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience with major cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or Ansible and with Linux and Windows systems.
- Proficiency in API management and deployment automation tools including GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Jenkins.
- Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or Datadog.
- Knowledge of IAM, vulnerability scanning, TCP/IP networking, system tracing, root cause analysis, ITIL, and change and incident management.
- Experience gathering business requirements, translating them into technical plans, and running projects using Agile or Scrum methods.
- Experience coordinating internal teams and external IT service providers while meeting Service Level Agreements.
- Strong communication and stakeholder coordination skills; scripting and automation experience is advantageous but not mandatory.
