Responsibilities
- Develop firmware in embedded C to enhance and extend the NetBotz product line.
- Formulate customer requirements and create or update engineering documentation.
- Contribute to product design and architecture.
- Support continuous improvement of products and processes.
- Work with Technical Support on customer issues.
- Participate in code inspections and deliver quality software products.
- Investigate new technologies and apply them to current team challenges.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, or Software Engineering, or equivalent.
- At least 3 years of experience with low-level embedded C programming on microcontrollers, including direct hardware interaction, peripheral drivers, and RTOS or bare-metal development.
- Experience with Git, embedded hardware platforms, hardware debuggers, TCP/IP, and protocols such as SNMP, Modbus, or BACnet.
- Ability to analyze complex tasks, adapt across multiple activities, innovate, and deliver quality solutions.
- Preferred experience with web services, API design, MicroC/OS-II, JavaScript, embedded web UI development, UML, I2C, UART, SPI, CAN, STM microcontrollers, or ARM microprocessors.
