Base Salary
$150k - $180k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop, version, and maintain the web stack and codebase.
- Shape operationalization and transition of solutions to government and industry users.
- Develop features based on emerging user needs.
- Integrate data sources and user workflows while addressing scalability and other software concerns.
- Build backend capabilities that expand and improve analysis capabilities.
- Evaluate and implement libraries and technologies.
- Support cloudification, containerization, and productization of applications.
- Review solutions with peers and deliver maintainable, extensible software.
- Lead or mentor junior engineers.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical field and 7+ years of full stack development experience, or comparable experience without a degree.
- 5+ years of Java experience.
- 3+ years of Python development experience.
- 4+ years of experience with Vue.js, React, Ember, or a similar frontend framework.
- 3 years of experience engineering systems with SQL and NoSQL databases, including technologies such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, Elasticsearch, or Redis.
- Experience with API development, Linux, and Git.
- Experience leading or mentoring junior engineers.
- Eligibility to obtain and maintain a DoD clearance up to TS/SCI level.
- Open source project development experience, Docker and container registry experience, AWS S3 or EC2 familiarity, and an active TS/SCI clearance are preferred.
