Responsibilities
- Critically evaluate core Cortex systems and challenge architecture to improve quality, scalability, and resilience.
- Rapidly prototype GenAI integrations and evaluate new models before broader production adoption.
- Lead high-level design reviews and guide cross-functional engineering teams.
- Provide technical mentorship and elevate engineering culture.
- Track technology and market trends, engage with the broader technology community, and attend industry conferences.
- Connect technical decisions to business value and the competitive landscape.
Requirements
- Proven experience building and deploying scaled AI systems in production environments.
- 10+ years of software engineering experience with deep architectural expertise in scalable server-side applications.
- Hands-on coding experience at the proof-of-concept level, including rapid prototyping and evaluation of new technologies.
- Experience designing and integrating Generative AI solutions into enterprise backend architectures.
- Strong understanding of AI models, frameworks, and prompting techniques.
- Deep expertise with varied database technologies and distributed cloud platforms including GCP, AWS, and Azure.
