Responsibilities
- Own and manage end-to-end software testing lifecycle processes with a focus on automation and continuous quality.
- Design, architect, and implement scalable, maintainable, and reusable automated testing frameworks and tools.
- Define automation strategies and quality approaches for complex, multi-service, distributed systems.
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure the quality of software deliverables.
- Establish and enforce software testing and automation best practices.
- Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to quality standards.
- Stay current with software testing and automation technology trends.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or higher degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 4 years of experience in software testing and test automation.
- Solid programming skills in at least one of Java, C#, or Python.
- Experience building test automation structures from scratch using tools and frameworks such as Selenium, Appium, Playwright, or Cypress.
- Experience with GenAI tools.
- Experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or GitLab CI.
- Experience with Git and branching strategies.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and issue management tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps.
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and testing methodologies.
- Strong understanding of software engineering fundamentals, including clean code, object-oriented programming, design patterns, debugging, logging, and observability.
- Experience with performance testing using JMeter, Gatling, or LoadRunner.
