Responsibilities
- Guide customers in implementing big data projects on the Databricks Lakehouse Platform.
- Architect production-level workloads and optimize pipeline performance.
- Provide expertise in cloud infrastructure and security for Databricks solutions.
- Assist Solution Architects with advanced technical sales aspects.
- Enhance community adoption through tutorials, training, and presentations.
- Act as a technical subject matter expert within the Databricks Community.
Requirements
- Experience in pre-sales or post-sales roles with external clients.
- Background as a Data Platform engineer with production-grade big data systems.
- Proficiency in designing cloud infrastructure and services (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure automation tools.
- Experience in designing security data platforms on Databricks.
- Ability to create scalable and secure cloud-based big data solutions.
- Deep knowledge of development tools and best practices.
- Production programming experience in Python, Scala, SQL, or R.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent.
- Willingness to travel up to 30% as needed.
