Base Salary
$99k - $174k/yr
Responsibilities
- Present, demonstrate, and support the selling of Esri software and solutions as part of an account team.
- Lead technical meetings with enterprise-level decision makers and support revenue-driving customer engagements.
- Advise customers on business structures, workflows, third-party systems, and integration points.
- Develop complex GIS solutions and strategies aligned with strategic customer needs.
- Provide configuration guidance, troubleshooting support, and best practices for Esri deployments.
- Design presentations and present to technical and non-technical audiences, conferences, and executives.
- Coach new team members on technical and solution best practices.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience with Esri technology, including map creation, spatial analysis, and web application configuration
- At least 3 years of experience in AEC, environmental consulting, or related industries
- Broad ArcGIS knowledge from an IT context, including hardware, storage, security, networking, web services, virtualization, and cloud computing
- Experience in technical consulting and conceptual solution design
- Understanding of sales and business development processes
- Ability to troubleshoot Esri application deployment and system architecture issues
- Experience with geodatabases and underlying DBMS technology
- Knowledge of cloud computing concepts and Microsoft Azure or AWS environments
- Experience integrating software with data warehousing, BI, CRM, ERP, and analytics platforms
- Programming and scripting experience with Python and JavaScript
- Strong presentation, interpersonal, and listening skills
- Bachelor’s degree in geography, computer science, or a related field
- Authorization to work for any U.S. employer; visa sponsorship is unavailable
- Preferred: experience with real-time information streams, mobile, IoT, advanced analytics and data science, imagery, Autodesk software, 3D geospatial problems, and AEC or commercial business strategy
- Preferred: master’s degree in geography, computer science, or a related field
