$293k - $385k/yr
Responsibilities
- Embed with strategic public sector customers to implement and maintain robust security controls.
- Provide security design and technical guidance covering access controls, authentication, encryption, network security, and system security.
- Collaborate with engineering teams, cross-functional partners, customers, and service providers on security and compliance goals.
- Maintain continuity of critical security and monitoring controls through assessments, threat monitoring, and security validation exercises.
- Work hands-on throughout deployment lifecycles from design through production and ongoing operations.
Requirements
- Active US security clearance.
- At least 5 years of security engineering experience, emphasizing infrastructure, application, network, datacenter, or systems engineering.
- Familiarity with cloud deployment models and infrastructure primitives including Azure, AWS, Kubernetes, and Terraform.
- Proficiency in Python, Golang, or similar programming languages.
- Track record of developing high-quality, scalable, and secure infrastructure.
- Experience with insider threat monitoring, network or endpoint detection and response, red team operations, or penetration testing.
- Comprehensive knowledge of modern adversary tactics, techniques, and procedures.
- Ability to collaborate effectively in cross-functional teams and navigate dynamic, ambiguous environments.
