Responsibilities
- Design and develop backend services using Java and Spring Boot.
- Build and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices for integrations.
- Work with PostgreSQL and write efficient, optimized SQL queries.
- Support containerized deployments using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Participate in code reviews, unit testing, debugging, automation, and production support.
- Improve application performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Document technical solutions, updates, and implementation details.
- Collaborate with product, QA, DevOps, and engineering teams to deliver features.
- Troubleshoot issues using structured problem-solving, data analysis, and root-cause analysis.
Requirements
- 5–9 years of professional experience in backend software development.
- Strong hands-on experience with Java and Spring Boot.
- Experience designing and building RESTful services and microservices.
- Knowledge of relational databases, SQL, and query optimization.
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes in development or deployment workflows.
- Understanding of Linux or Ubuntu-based environments.
- Experience with code reviews, unit testing, and CI/CD practices.
- Ability to work effectively in Agile or Scrum environments.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Preferred: experience with Microsoft Azure or Google Cloud Platform.
- Preferred: performance tuning, scalability improvements, legacy code modernization, SaaS application development, or Python scripting for automation and support.
