Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and operate scalable multi-cloud infrastructure across AWS, Azure, and other providers.
- Engineer foundational cloud services and standard patterns for identity integration, networking, logging, monitoring, compute, storage, and security controls.
- Develop and maintain reusable infrastructure-as-code modules and standardized environment patterns using Terraform, Ansible, and Bicep.
- Build automation workflows and scripts with Python, PowerShell, and Bash to reduce manual operational work and improve reliability.
- Own reliability outcomes, lead troubleshooting and root cause analysis, and improve runbooks, monitoring, alerting, and support models.
- Design and validate backup, recovery, resilience, patching, vulnerability-management, security, and compliance controls.
- Support audit readiness and collaborate with Security and Risk on technical guardrails and control implementation.
- Mentor engineers through pairing, code reviews, and knowledge sharing, and influence cross-team technical patterns and roadmaps.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- At least 5 years of experience in cloud engineering, infrastructure engineering, platform engineering, or related roles.
- Hands-on engineering depth in at least two major cloud providers, including AWS, Azure, GCP, or OCI.
- Strong infrastructure-as-code experience, particularly Terraform and/or Ansible, including module development and pattern standardization.
- Strong scripting and automation experience with Python, PowerShell, Bash, or equivalent.
- Experience implementing or significantly improving infrastructure CI/CD practices.
- Experience with incident response, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and preventative remediation.
- Knowledge of multi-cloud design, foundational cloud services, operational excellence, security and compliance patterns, and audit readiness.
- Preferred certifications include AWS Solutions Architect – Professional, Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Google Professional Cloud Architect, and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Architect Professional, with two or more preferred.
- Preferred experience includes container orchestration, Azure Policy, AWS Organizations controls, GCP organization policies, SIEM integrations, regulated environments, multi-region patterns, shared-services networking, and private connectivity.
