Base Salary

$144k - $194k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to design and bring innovative products and services to market.
  • Design and build technologies in a large distributed computing environment.
  • Investigate design approaches, prototype new technology, and evaluate technical feasibility.
  • Implement maintainable and extensible code from feature specifications.
  • Build scalable, fault-tolerant, low-cost distributed storage, index, and query systems.
  • Design solutions for broadly defined problems and deliver high-quality software in an agile environment.
  • Participate in design and code reviews, test automation, verification processes, and a regular on-call rotation.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of non-internship professional software development experience.
  • At least 2 years of non-internship experience designing or architecting new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
  • Experience programming in at least one software programming language.
  • Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • Preferred: bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.
