Base Salary
$144k - $194k/yr
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to design and bring innovative products and services to market.
- Design and build technologies in a large distributed computing environment.
- Investigate design approaches, prototype new technology, and evaluate technical feasibility.
- Implement maintainable and extensible code from feature specifications.
- Build scalable, fault-tolerant, low-cost distributed storage, index, and query systems.
- Design solutions for broadly defined problems and deliver high-quality software in an agile environment.
- Participate in design and code reviews, test automation, verification processes, and a regular on-call rotation.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- At least 2 years of non-internship experience designing or architecting new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- Experience programming in at least one software programming language.
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Preferred: bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.
