Base Salary
$190k - $240k/yr
Responsibilities
- Architect and evolve GCP serverless cloud infrastructure supporting rapid growth
- Design fault-tolerant, high-throughput systems with strong observability and performance
- Lead initiatives improving developer velocity, system performance, and scalability
- Develop and oversee CI/CD, release, and testing infrastructure for frequent deployments and app releases
- Own company-wide uptime, latency, reliability, performance, and cost-efficiency metrics
- Align infrastructure investments with company and product strategy
- Establish AI tooling, workflows, and best practices to improve engineering effectiveness
- Mentor and coach engineers and raise organization-wide technical standards
- Champion speed, reliability, and operational excellence
Requirements
- 7–12+ years of infrastructure or backend engineering experience driving high-impact, technically complex initiatives
- Deep expertise in cloud architecture, system design, distributed systems, reliability engineering, and observability
- Experience scaling systems from millions to tens of millions of users
- Mastery of CI/CD pipelines, developer environments, and operational tooling
- Strong coding ability in Node.js and TypeScript, including debugging complex production systems
- Experience accelerating engineering velocity through infrastructure design and automation
- Fluency with AI tools and development workflows
- Strong ownership, urgency, accountability, communication, collaboration, and cross-team technical influence
