Responsibilities
- Innovate beyond existing products and bring new ideas to life.
- Take ownership of implementation and delivery of assigned projects.
- Demonstrate technical leadership within the engineering team.
- Ensure high quality and continuously improve engineering procedures.
- Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and designers for efficient solutions.
- Drive project success across multiple geographies.
- Engage in brainstorming and research with the Celonis Labs team.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or master's degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.
- 10+ years of software engineering experience.
- 7+ years as a Backend Engineer with expertise in Java, Spring framework, JPA, and Hibernate.
- Experience with data pipelines in Databricks, ETL, and Apache Spark is a plus.
- Proficient in building cloud-native distributed systems.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze and design complex software.
- Experience with scalable, fault-tolerant distributed systems.
- Familiarity with Kubernetes and cloud platforms like AWS.
- Strong understanding of modern engineering practices such as CI/CD.
- Ability to learn quickly and work collaboratively.
