Base Salary
$90k - $122k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and implement new features for Verisign resolution products.
- Support software design, development, integration, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
- Develop automated testing and CI/CD pipelines while applying software development best practices.
- Maintain development environments and troubleshoot issues affecting system health and quality.
- Work with large-scale distributed systems and infrastructure automation.
- Take ownership of features from design through delivery and collaborate with a highly technical Agile team.
- Help identify and mitigate project technical risks and ensure quality.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- At least 2 years of relevant software development experience.
- Foundation in Computer Science fundamentals including data structures, algorithms, operating systems, and object-oriented design.
- Experience with C or C++ development and proficiency in Linux and Python or a similar scripting language.
- Knowledge of systems programming focused on networking and routing protocols.
- Experience with or willingness to learn Terraform, Ansible, Puppet, and OpenStack.
- Understanding of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Groovy, and GitHub.
- Exposure to Python Behave or Cucumber behavior-driven testing frameworks.
- Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, communication, collaboration, and software design skills.
- Familiarity with DNS at the protocol level, tcpdump, Docker, and Kubernetes is a bonus.
