Responsibilities

Collaborate with software developers, system administrators, and stakeholders to understand project requirements.
Design, implement, and maintain automation for software builds, deployments, and configuration.
Manage AWS, Azure, GCP, and other cloud-based infrastructure for scalability, reliability, and security.
Implement infrastructure as code using Terraform, Pulumi, and similar tools.
Establish and maintain pipelines covering build, test, and deployment phases.
Develop monitoring solutions and address performance, reliability, and scalability issues.
Implement infrastructure and application-deployment security practices, including vulnerability assessments, code scanning, and access controls.
Support development and operations teams with build failures, deployment problems, and system outages.
Participate in an on-call rotation for critical incidents.
Create and maintain documentation for systems, processes, and configurations.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar role.
Proficiency with Python, Bash, or Ruby.
Experience with Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes containerization technologies.
Hands-on experience with Git or another version control system.
Understanding of continuous integration and continuous deployment concepts and tools.
Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, communication, and collaboration abilities.
Current or expired certification in at least one listed AWS, Azure, GCP, or Kubernetes certification.

The role involves collaboration with customers’ development and operations teams.
Participation in an on-call rotation is required.
