Responsibilities
- Define and drive long-term architecture for platform systems across teams.
- Lead operational excellence initiatives focused on cost efficiency, operational efficiency, and continuous improvement.
- Ensure the quality of system and component architecture and design.
- Develop technical roadmaps and guide future technological advancements.
- Analyze system interdependencies and limitations to support decision-making and conflict resolution.
- Own the building and launch of critical components and systems.
- Influence teams technically to improve productivity and effectiveness.
- Mentor engineers on advanced technical matters and career development.
- Facilitate rapid prototyping to identify and eliminate blind spots.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in software development.
- Demonstrated proficiency in hands-on software development and designing and implementing high-quality solutions.
- Extensive technical knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and performance optimization.
- Experience providing guidance across frontend and backend technologies.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, business judgment, influencing, ownership, and leadership skills.
- Experience mentoring team members and driving development and launch of critical systems.
