Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain high-quality software using C++, Qt, and Python.
- Contribute to software architecture, technical design, and technology selection.
- Build, package, and deploy software through automated CI/CD pipelines.
- Integrate machine-learning models into production software in collaboration with AI researchers.
- Collaborate with Product, QA, UX, Regulatory, and multidisciplinary engineering teams.
- Deploy and optimize applications on dedicated Linux-based medical systems.
- Design software with cybersecurity, reliability, and regulatory compliance considerations.
- Maintain technical documentation covering architecture, implementation, deployment, and maintenance.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to senior and junior developers.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of professional software engineering experience developing production-grade applications.
- Proficiency in C++ and working knowledge of Python.
- Experience developing Qt applications, including GUI, multithreading, Signals/Slots, and custom widgets.
- Strong understanding of software architecture and object-oriented design.
- Experience developing and deploying software with Linux.
- Experience with Docker, TeamCity or equivalent CI/CD platforms, and Git.
- Experience writing automated unit and integration tests, such as with GoogleTest.
- Strong debugging, performance optimization, refactoring, code review, and collaborative development skills.
- Understanding of cybersecurity principles, Secure Boot, TPM, secure key management, and Linux system security.
- Preferred: medical-device software experience; IEC 62304 development processes; FDA or MDR submission support; ISO 13485 and ISO 14971; production AI/ML deployment; and software verification, validation, audits, or regulatory compliance experience.
- Professional English fluency and the ability to communicate technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
