Responsibilities
- Build and evolve digital solutions supporting IKEA product development.
- Develop and maintain software applications, services, integrations, and cloud-based solutions.
- Contribute across the product lifecycle from discovery and design through delivery and continuous improvement.
- Work across products and problem areas as priorities evolve.
- Collaborate with engineers, product teams, and stakeholders across locations and time zones.
- Support software quality through code reviews, testing, automation, and modern engineering practices.
- Share knowledge, support colleagues, and contribute to continuous improvement and team learning.
Requirements
- Experience developing modern software solutions and solving technical challenges.
- Solid experience with backend development, APIs, integrations, and complex application landscapes.
- Experience with version control, testing, automation, and continuous delivery practices.
- Interest in cloud technologies and modern application development.
- Experience modernizing, simplifying, or transitioning existing applications and services is advantageous.
- Experience with cloud platforms and services, API development, integrations, backend services, infrastructure as code, automation, DevOps practices, or relational and document-based databases is a plus.
- Ability to collaborate effectively, communicate clearly, share knowledge, coach others, and contribute positively to team outcomes.
- Curiosity, eagerness to learn, ownership, and alignment with IKEA values and cultural principles.
