Base Salary
$76k - $83k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, release, support, and maintain applications for Delivery Services, Parking & Transportation, Telecommunications, and ATS custom solutions.
- Develop software according to technical specifications, compliance requirements, development standards, and business-operational needs.
- Build APIs and automate information exchange and process initiation between software systems using SFTP and REST protocols.
- Design, analyze, and modify databases, data systems, dashboards, and reports.
- Read, debug, document, and maintain code and database elements written by others.
- Apply security-by-design, software development, cybersecurity, SDLC, ITIL, NIST SSDF, and NIST CSF practices.
- Create technical specifications, maintain system documentation, participate in annual tool and framework reviews, and support change management.
- Release software to production, provide technical support, explain technical policies to nontechnical stakeholders, and contribute to team member growth.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field, or an accepted equivalent combination of relevant experience and education.
- One to three years of experience developing software for technical specifications, compliance requirements, development standards, and business operations.
- Knowledge of SDLC phases, models, documentation, best practices, ITIL principles, API development, software version control, and software security practices.
- Knowledge of SQL, C++, C#, .NET, MVC, XHTML, CSS, XML, and other programming languages or models used by ATS.
- Ability to develop technical specifications, modify databases and reports, debug code, research solutions, communicate technical concepts, manage multiple problems, and maintain documentation.
- Ability to pass a background check and justify work performed to customers, leaders, or auditors.
- Preferred qualifications include three to five years of professional experience, one to three years in a supervisory or coaching role, ticketing and ITIL experience, SDLC experience, and direct customer troubleshooting experience.
- Preferred domain knowledge includes Double-Book Accounting, Workday reporting and integrations, mail and shipping operations, business asset management, surplus stores, telecommunications call accounting, and parking management.
