Responsibilities
- Design, develop, maintain, and extend automated test frameworks and testing infrastructure for Unreal Engine systems and reusable gameplay modules.
- Integrate, migrate, and validate shared automation solutions across projects and development environments.
- Investigate, debug, and resolve issues involving automation, integrations, testing environments, CI/CD pipelines, and build infrastructure.
- Collaborate with engineering, technical art, art, QA, DevOps, and central development services teams.
- Participate in code reviews and maintain engineering standards across QA automation codebases.
- Improve the testability, reliability, scalability, and maintainability of shared systems.
- Monitor and maintain CI/CD pipelines and resolve build and test failures.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of experience in QA engineering, test automation, or software testing.
- Experience with C++, preferably in Unreal Engine environments.
- Knowledge of automated testing, tooling, testing infrastructure, and automated test framework development.
- Ability to analyze, debug, and troubleshoot complex issues across systems, integrations, and development environments.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills across multiple disciplines and teams.
- Experience shipping an Unreal Engine-based game for Xbox or PlayStation is preferred.
- Experience with Unreal Engine development, containerization, cloud technologies, performance profiling, asset processing, validation pipelines, shared tooling, or cross-project technical initiatives is preferred.
- Programming or scripting experience with Python, TypeScript, or C# is preferred.
