Base Salary

Responsibilities

  • Partner with HR and functional teams to identify and prioritize HCM improvement opportunities using Workday Extend, AI capabilities, integrations, and workflow automation.
  • Design, build, test, deploy, and support Workday Extend applications and intuitive HR experiences.
  • Evaluate and implement Workday-delivered AI capabilities, Sana experiences, delivered agents, custom agents, and agent-management capabilities.
  • Develop proofs of concept and move validated solutions into secure, scalable, supportable production implementations.
  • Design and implement Workday and third-party integrations using REST and SOAP APIs, Workday Orchestrate, Workday Studio, EIBs, and other integration technologies.
  • Configure permissions, domain security, business process security, authentication, and agent access with security, privacy, legal, HR, and technology teams.
  • Establish reusable standards and design patterns for development, testing, deployment, monitoring, documentation, and production support.
  • Monitor application performance, API consumption, agent activity, errors, adoption, reliability, usability, and business outcomes.
  • Assess Workday releases, developer tools, AI offerings, and marketplace solutions and recommend adoption opportunities.
  • Promote responsible AI practices including human oversight, data protection, transparency, security, testing, and ongoing monitoring.

Requirements

  • Hands-on production experience designing, developing, deploying, and supporting Workday Extend applications is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of the Workday platform, including business process configuration, security, reporting, calculated fields, data sources, tenant configuration, and integration architecture is preferred.
  • Experience with Workday integration technologies such as REST and SOAP APIs, Workday Studio, EIBs, Cloud Connect, Workday Orchestrate, or event-driven integrations is preferred.
  • Experience translating HCM business challenges into technical solutions across areas such as Recruiting, Compensation, Talent, Payroll, Core HCM, Benefits, Time, or Absence is preferred.
  • Experience evaluating technical alternatives, feasibility, complexity, risks, dependencies, and business value is preferred.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills across applications, business processes, security configurations, integrations, and data are preferred.
  • Experience with Workday AI capabilities, Sana for Workday, Workday agents, custom agents, Agent System of Record, Agent Gateway, or related capabilities is preferred.
  • Experience designing AI-enabled or agentic workflows that securely interact with Workday data, APIs, and business processes is preferred.
  • Familiarity with large language models, prompt design, tool use, retrieval-augmented generation, human-in-the-loop controls, observability, and AI governance is preferred.
  • Experience connecting Workday with Microsoft 365, ServiceNow, Salesforce, Google, or other HR technology platforms is preferred.
  • Experience developing reusable Workday Extend, integration, or AI-enabled components, accelerators, templates, or frameworks is preferred.
  • Knowledge of data privacy, responsible AI, identity and access management, and security practices for sensitive workforce data is preferred.
  • Relevant Workday certifications in Extend, integrations, platform, security, or HCM functional areas are preferred.
  • Advanced technical knowledge, ability to work on complex large-scope projects, ability to mentor less experienced colleagues, and ability to recommend new practices and processes are expected.
