Working student AI Research Engineer for SLM Optimization (m/f/d/x)

- Develop, refine, and manage caching mechanisms for Small Language Models.
- Support the training and further development of models for cache prediction.
- Configure and manage machine learning environments in the cloud.
- Design and analyze new caching strategies and contribute original ideas.
- Support the selection, development, and integration of technologies in research projects.
- Collaborate with developers from multiple disciplines in an agile product development team.
Requirements
- Currently studying Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a comparable degree program.
- Experience in software development with Python.
- Knowledge of deep learning and transformer model architectures.
- Excellent German and English skills.
- Strong motivation, structured working methods, self-organization, and the ability to independently learn new topics.
- Complete application documents, including a cover letter, CV, transcript of records, certificate of enrollment, and applicable residence or work permit.
