Responsibilities
- Create tasks measuring Gemini’s ability to perform long-horizon software engineering work.
- Launch new DeepMind projects focused on improving Gemini’s training data and evaluations.
- Design realistic software engineering scenarios, prompts, graders, rubrics, and numerical scoring methods for model-generated solutions.
Requirements
- Experience in software development or programming.
- Experience using AI-assisted coding tools, developer agents, or LLM-based workflows for software development.
- Experience using coding agents to perform work.
- Preferred: participation in competitive programming, mathematics competitions, or hackathons.
- Preferred: experience designing rubrics, evaluation frameworks, or benchmark datasets for machine learning models.
- Ability to quickly learn new programming paradigms, tools, and technical stacks.
