Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Python automated test cases validating firmware functionality across Redfish, SNMP, Modbus, and BACnet.
- Build and extend API-level test automation for Redfish/REST interfaces on embedded power and monitoring hardware.
- Integrate automated tests into GitLab CI pipelines for continuous firmware-build validation.
- Create and configure virtualized test environments for repeatable automated execution.
- Develop test utilities, data parsers, and reporting scripts for the test engineering team.
- Use Generative AI coding tools to accelerate test development and code review workflows.
- Learn and apply Agile development practices for test planning and execution.
Requirements
- Must be pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Coursework or project experience with Python or another scripting language.
- Strong written and verbal communication, analytical and critical-thinking skills, work ethic, attention to detail, collaboration, and willingness to learn.
- Familiarity with Git is preferred.
- Exposure to REST APIs, CI/CD concepts, or Linux command-line environments is preferred.
